Yaman is a Partner and heads HFW shipping and logistics team in the Middle East. He has been practicing shipping litigation throughout the gulf region for over 12 years.
Yaman is highly regarded for both his local litigation expertise and his extensive shipping experience within the gulf region. His practice focuses on regional shipping disputes and litigation, including collisions, salvage and wreck removal, cargo and agency disputes. He represents P&I Clubs, charterers and shipowners, and has successfully litigated a substantial number of shipping disputes and a number of landmark cases involving enforcement of foreign awards and limitation of liability within the Middle East.

Yaman has extensive experience of handling criminal proceedings in the UAE involving corporate fraud, and has represented banks in respect of various finance disputes related to Letters of Credit and fraud in documentary credit transactions.

Another client added: "He is very prompt and comes back to you very quickly, but you get attention despite the demands on his time and he doesn't overlook attention to detail."
