WELCOME TO THE 8TH EDITION OF THE SEATRADE MARITIME MIDDLE EAST
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the maritime meeting place for the Middle East returns for its 8th edition as part of Dubai Maritime Week.
This flagship event for the maritime sector attracts more than 7,000 attendees from across 69 different countries who specifically use this platform to do business with owners, operators, managers, charterers, superintendents, senior management and anyone involved with the procurements of equipment and services within the maritime, offshore, oil & gas and ports industries.
The three day event includes a conference, an exhibition, networking opportunities and more.
For the first time, Seatrade Maritime Middle East welcomes partners, ISSA (International Ship Suppliers and Services Association) and Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) UAE Branch who will be hosting events within the Seatrade event programme.
The annual International Shipsuppliers & Services Association's (ISSA) Convention, along with its local National Association, UAE National Ship Suppliers Assocation (U.N.S.S.A), is staging its 61st Convention in Dubai, UAE, as a partner of the SMME.
The Convention will run from 31 October – 2 November 2016 and is a must-attend for maritime industry professionals to connect with leading shipowners, managers and suppliers players; learn the latest market trends and innovative solutions; and explore new business opportunities.
Seatrade Tanker Middle East 2016 will provide a comprehensive discussion on the fundamentals of the tanker market, looking at the pattern of supply growth, the factors influencing demand and the size of the order book, with a strong emphasis on the ME region and the outlook for its principal players.
This morning session is organised in association with the International Association of Independent Tanker Owners (INTERTANKO).

Full afternoon Technical Forum, in association with the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) UAE Branch, enables those interested marine professionals to attend and keep abreast with maritime development, independent of their employers’ contribution towards formalized training.
These hugely popular seminars are organised by honorary committee members who sacrifice their spare time with the sole objective of providing a rich and diverse source of information with which marine professionals gain a better understanding of maritime technology.
