Mazen Matar serves as   the Board of   Director and Managing Director of   Arab Shipbuilding and RepairYard  Co.  (ASRY),  Bahrain,  and  leads the  restructuring  and  modernization  process  of ASRY’sdevelopment and growth.Mr. Matar also serves as   the Chairman of   Bahrain Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal (BLNG).

Prior to  joining ASRY, Mr. Matar was the President of   AECOM Arabia - the Saudi Arabia operations of AECOM, a fully integrated infrastructure and support services US firm. Mr. Matar was responsible forproject  delivery  and  management of AECOM's  operations  in   Saudi  Arabia,  delivering  some  of  thelargest projects in  the   Kingdom such as; Jeddah Storm Water, Jezan Economic City and Riyadh Airport.

Prior to  joining AECOM, he was Board Member & Project Director for the Red Sea Gateway TerminalCompany. Mr.  Matar  holds  a  Masters  Degree  from  Lancaster  University  -  UK  in   Project  Management and  a Bachelors Degree from Tulsa University in  Chemical Engineering.
