Jamil Al- Ali joined KOTC on a Scholarship program since 1985. He then studied Marine Engineering as a Cadet in the UK and graduated in 1990.
Jamil Al- Ali has served onboard KOTC vessels of various types, Crude Petroleum Products & LPG Carriers working up through the ranks to Chief Engineer, before joining KOTC’s head office as a Technical Superintendent.
Jamil Al-Ali has had various managerial positions in KOTC, including:
- Fleet Engineering Group Manager
- Fleet New Building Projects Fleet Operations Manager (Acting)
- Fleet Personnel Manager (Acting)
- Marine Agency Branch (Acting)
