Khalifa bin Salman Port (KBSP) is the only commercial port in the Kingdom of Bahrain which is managed and operated by APM Terminals. KBSP is a world class multi-purpose port that handles a diverse range of cargo that includes containers, general cargo, break-bulk, dry bulk, RO-RO and livestock. The facility also includes a dedicated passenger terminal that is capable of handling cruise and ferry calls. Apart from catering to the local trade in Bahrain, KBSP is ideally positioned to serve as an alternative gateway for the upper gulf, with its ample spare capacity and its customs bonded facility that offers a solution through a sea carriage based option, that allows for storage, if required, followed by prompt customs clearance and onward dispatch by road using the Saudi-Bahrain causeway.

Hutchison Ports Dammam has been the terminal operator at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, Saudi Arabia since 1997 and has handled more than 22m TEUs during this time.
For the past two decades Hutchison Ports Dammam has played a key role in facilitating the importation and exportation of all goods and services necessary for social, economic and industrial development.

Hutchison Ports Dammam is the ideal location in the Eastern gateway for the Kingdom; for both local distribution and with quick access to Riyadh through 3 railway lines, to connect Dammam port to Riyadh.

It is the largest container terminal in the Eastern Province, spread across 116 hectares. It operates 7 container berths, 3 Multi-purpose berths and has a total of 17 quay cranes, 53 rubber-tyred gantry cranes. It has its own dedicated customs inspection area with separate facilities for dry, dangerous and reefer cargo inspection.

Saudi Global Ports Co (SGPC), the new star on Saudi Arabia’s maritime landscape, is a joint-venture company, formed between the public investment fund (PIF) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (51% equity share) and Singapore’s PSA international (PSA) (49% equity share). It will develop, operate and manage the second container terminal at the King Abdul Aziz port in Dammam with -16m deep draught 2xberths, a key gateway in the Arabian Gulf.
