Conditions of Entry


  • Entrants may submit entries in more than one category provided any repetitious subject matter is submitted individually to each category and answers the different and specific criteria and questions of each category. If submitting more than one entry, a separate form must be completed for each. If an entry is copied and pasted into additional categories, only the first category submission will be considered.
  •  There are no geographical restrictions to entries. Companies from all over the world are welcome to enter.
  • No entry will be considered by the judges if the entry summary is not complete.
  • Seatrade reserves the right to publish, in whole or part, details of any entries submitted for the Seatrade Maritime Awards 2023, following announcement of the shortlist.
  • All entries for the Seatrade Maritime Awards 2023 must be received by 23.59 GMT on Tuesday 29th August 2023.
  • No correspondence will be entered into concerning the eligibility of any application.
  • The Seatrade Maritime & the Seatrade Maritime Awards 2023 judges shall have sole and absolute discretion in determining whether an application meets the requirements of, or is in accordance with, these rules and conditions.
  • Seatrade Maritime Award winners are requested by the judges to give an update on the progress of their winning entry in future years.
  • Entries must include sufficient information relevant to the criteria to enable the judges to have a clear understanding of the company, process, product or procedure involved, its merits and resulting benefits. Accuracy of figures and other information is essential.
  • The judges shall have sole and absolute discretion in determining whether or not an entry meets the judging criteria and/or is in accordance with these rules and conditions.
  • Solutions and new technologies/initiatives must have been developed by the entrant’s company and implemented within the past year. Entries will be marked down if the technology/initiative has been developed by a third party or implemented prior to the evaluation year.
  • The entry must have been developed (and proven successful) or debuted within the Evaluation Period.
  • The Evaluation Period for the Seatrade Maritime Awards 2023 is as follows: From 1st July 2022 to 1st July 2023
  • Any supporting material or additional information (website, video’s, brochure’s etc.) will be considered as supplementary information but not as the entry itself which should be submitted using the form and fields provided. Judges reserve the right to observe any supporting material at their discretion and it is strongly advised that entrants ensure the submission text provides all key information directly.Categories and Criteria 2023
