Ceremony Information

Every year, hundreds of your industry's key players gather to recognise and honour the brilliant achievements of their industry. Not only do the Awards provide great networking opportunities, the evening is also a great social occasion.

NEW FOR 2019!

The Seatrade Awards returns this year to London’s prestigious Guildhall by popular demand. The ceremony will also return to an evening’s dinner and for the first time includes the Seatrade Parliamentary Debate.

Prior to the welcome reception and ceremony dinner, guests can take part in a traditional parliamentary-style debate where speakers will argue for and against the motion:

'This House believes that the early adoption of smart technology and automation will be an unqualified benefit for the maritime industry at sea and on land’

Experience a debate, join in and imagine you're a member of the Maritime Parliament!

The results of the motion will be announced during the ceremony dinner.

The debate will be chaired by:

Harry Theochari, Chair, Maritime UK and Partner – Global Head of Transport, Norton Rose Fulbright LLP

Following on from the success at last year’s Parliamentary-style session at Seatrade Maritime Middle East, this new debate will bring together leading luminaries from across the global shipping to discuss fundamental questions facing the industry in the coming year.
