Getting to Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia

SMAA 2020 will take place at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, which is conveniently located in the Central Business District and just minutes from the city's entertainment and cultural attractions and featuring excellent transport links.

BY TRAIN

Suntec Singapore is easily accessible by three MRT stations - Esplanade or Promenade via the Circle Line, and City Hall via the East West Line.

Follow these directions to get to Suntec Singapore:

• From CC3 Esplanade MRT Station (3 minutes): Take Exit A and follow the signage to the Centre.
  
• From CC4 Promenade MRT Station (5 minutes): Take Exit C, walk through Suntec City Mall and follow the signage to the Centre.
  
• From EW13 City Hall MRT Station (8 - 10 minutes): Walk through City Link Mall and then Esplanade Exchange to the Centre.

BY BUS

Getting to Suntec Singapore by bus is relatively easy. Depending on which bus service you are taking, you may
choose to board or alight at the following stops around the Centre:

If you're taking a taxi to Suntec Singapore, alight at the driveway of the Centre in front of The Big Picture on Level 1.

To get a taxi out of Suntec, proceed to the taxi stand outside H&M.

BY CAR

If you're driving to Suntec Singapore, choose from the following routes for access to our carpark:

• Nicoll Highway       
• Raffles Boulevard (from Bras Basah Road)    
• Temasek Avenue (from Raffles Boulevard)
• Rochor Road exit from East Coast Expressway (ECP)

To help you easily identify your parking location, the carpark is clearly divided into 3 colour zones and 24 distinct animal symbols. Park at West Wing (Green Zone) for quick access to Suntec Singapore.

Entry into Singapore

Please note that all visitors to Singapore must meet the following entry requirements:

• Valid travel document (minimum validity = 6 months);
• Onward / return ticket;
• Entry facilities to next destination;
• Sufficient funds to stay in Singapore and
• Visa for Singapore (if applicable)

If you require a visa to enter Singapore, please approach the Singapore mission nearest to you for information on visa application and submission procedures, list of documents required, application fees payable and to obtain visa application forms.

The visa application process can take up to at least 2 months, so it is important that you start your application as soon as possible to ensure you receive your visa in plenty of time for travel to Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia.

Letter of Invitation

Please  contact Ms Daphne Yuen via email at [email protected] if you require an invitation letter for the purpose of visa application to allow you to travel to Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia with the subject title ‘Request for Letter of Invitation – SMAA 2020’. 

In this email, please provide the following:

• Full name (as in passport)
• Passport Number
• Nationality
• Job Title
• Company Name
• Company Address, City and Country
• Telephone
• Fax
• Please also attach a scanned copy of your business card and passport to your email.

If your request is successful, we will email you a copy of your Letter of Introduction and send you the original copy by mail if required.

Request for a Letter of Invitation along with the required information and documents must reach the Organiser by 17 April 2020.
