What is the deadline to submit entries for Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia 2021?

Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia (SMAA) 2021 has been postponed to 2022. Please keep a look out for the announcement on the new date in 2022. Should you have any queries, please contact Ms Phoenix Teng at [email protected].  

How much does it cost to enter?

There is no cost associated with submitting an award entry. 

How do I submit an entry?

All entries need to be submitted through our online portal.   

Who can enter?

We encourage relevant industry players, from both the private and public sectors, based in Asia to enter their submissions.

Can I submit an entry in any language?

All entries, supporting material and files uploaded must be in English. Submissions in any other language will be considered invalid.

Can we enter more than one category?

Yes, you can enter as many categories as you like. We advise that you read each category description carefully to ensure your submission match the judging criteria.

How many award categories are open for entry submission?

A total of 12 award categories are open for entry submission. Please refer to the award categories here.

How will I know that my submission has been received?

A confirmation email will be sent to you confirming the successful receipt of your submission. If you have any concerns, please email Phoenix Teng at [email protected].

Can I get feedback on my entry?

Due to the large number of submitted entries, we cannot guarantee that detailed feedbacks will be sent to all nominations with regard to their entries.

When will I find out if we have been shortlisted?

Please click here to view the list of finalists. All finalists will be notified via email.

When are the winners announced?

The winners will be announced on the night of the Gala Dinner. More information on the date of the event and how to participate in the Gala Dinner will be shared at a later date. 

What are the benefits for the winners?

Winning the prestigious Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia will affirm your market leading position and set yourself apart from the competition. You will also gain exposure across the global network of Seatrade Maritime platform including print publications and social media.

Can I still enter the awards if I’m a sponsor? 

Yes, we encourage all maritime industry players to enter the awards.  However, you are unable to enter the award category you are sponsoring.
